A Certified ADAS Technician (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)

A Certified ADAS Technicians™ (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a professional who has received specialized training and certification in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of ADAS systems. These technicians are highly skilled in working with the complex sensors, cameras, and software that are integral to these systems.

To become Certified ADAS Technicians™, you typically need to complete a training program offered by an industry-recognized organization, such as the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), or the Automotive Management Institute (AMI). These programs typically cover topics such as ADAS system components and operation, calibration procedures, and diagnosis and repair of ADAS system faults.

After completing the training program, you must pass a certification exam to become certified as a Certified ADAS Technicians™ . Certification exams may be offered by the same organizations that provide the training programs, and typically require a passing score on a written or practical test that demonstrates your knowledge and skills in working with ADAS systems.
